About Optimal Living


(MBSR) programmes as devised by  Jon Kabat Zinn and colleagues at the Umass medical centre, Massachusetts. Our teachers have completed five-year Masters degrees at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University, Wales and are trained to teach both MBSR and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). We adhere to the UK Guidelines for Good Practice:






expresses our commitment and care for our participants.  From the moment you telephone or email regarding the course, through your pre-course telephone conversation, until the eighth week of your course. From start to finish, you are in contact with your teacher. We also keep our groups small to create an optimal learning environment for all our participants, one where each person feels valued, and more practically, where there is enough time for each person to receive the attention they have paid for, and deserve.
